The NZRYS sails one design model yachts. Most of the boats are Kyosho Seawinds using the ABS plastic hull. The club has set down rules that control the amount of modification that is allowable and what is required if Carbon Fibre edition boats are used. |

The club sails on Onepoto Domain Lagoon every Sunday afternoon. Racing commences at 2pm until 4pm. |

Onepoto is in Northcote and the main entrance is at the south end of Sylvan Avenue. From Auckland and South drive over the Harbour Bridge (use left hand lanes) and take the Onewa Road turnoff. Go straight ahead into Sylvan Avenue and first left into the Domain. From the Northern Motorway take the Northcote Road or Akoranga turnoff and proceed via Lake Road to Exmouth Road and Sylvan Avenue. From Northcote/Birkenhead Sylvan Avenue is the last left turn on Onewa Road just before the Motorway on ramps. |
